Dr. Bill Wheeler is a dedicated public servant and U.S. Air Force Veteran who brings strong leadership, resilience, and real-world experience to the Everett community. With a professional background in military security, environmental health and safety (EHS), facilities management, and small business ownership, Dr. Bill is committed to empowering residents, advancing sustainable solutions, and driving lasting change.

 

As a supervisor in EHS and facilities, Dr. Bill leads with a focus on safety, operational excellence, and environmental responsibility. His work involves managing teams, coordinating sustainable practices, and ensuring that workplaces and public spaces remain safe, efficient, and future-ready.

 

Overcoming personal adversity—including a past felony conviction that he believes highlights systemic flaws in justice—Dr. Bill brings a unique and essential perspective to issues of reform and accountability. His experiences fuel his commitment to protecting civil liberties and advocating for a justice system that is truly just.

Holding a Doctorate in Business Administration with a concentration in sustainability, Dr. Bill combines academic insight with practical leadership. His data-informed, people-centered approach allows him to identify solutions that balance economic growth, social equity, and environmental stewardship.

 

Beyond his professional work, Dr. Bill is passionate about community engagement—uplifting local voices, encouraging civic participation, and helping residents navigate and influence the systems that affect their daily lives. Whether through neighborhood outreach, public education, or advocacy, he strives to create space for meaningful dialogue and action.

Inspired daily by his partner Libby and their two children, Dr. Bill’s leadership is rooted in family, service, and the unwavering belief that Everett deserves bold, compassionate, and honest community-driven progress.
